Tradeshow Artisan

Harper Group is looking for a talented Painting Specialist to assist our Show Operations team at The Javits Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our tradeshow booth looks its best during the Show Season.

In this role, you will be responsible for painting the entire 7,000 square foot tradeshow booth, as well as assisting with any light touch-up regarding fixtures. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all displays are completed on time and to the highest standards.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in painting and display creation, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, so it's essential that you can work efficiently and effectively under pressure.

Key responsibilities:

• Painting the entire 7,000 square foot tradeshow booth
• Assisting with any light touch-up regarding fixtures
• Working independently to complete assigned tasks to completion

Requirements:

• Ability to work 10-12hr days, which may include late evening hours
• Willingness to ask questions if unsure of task(s) requested to complete
• Ability to work well under pressure and adaptable to rapid changes to fit the needs of the project

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: $27-$28 USD
