About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician III to join our team at Liberty Military Housing. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing general and specialized maintenance and repairs in our multifamily residential communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and appliances, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry.
  • Test and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Apply proficient skills in all trades to ensure quality maintenance and repairs.
  • Complete resident-requested repairs and services within the required time frame.
  • Participate in routine inspections and quality control checks.
  • Perform general maintenance and cleaning of common areas, maintenance shop, and other facilities.
  • Train and guide other maintenance team members in performing skilled tasks.
  • Lead or supervise other maintenance team members as needed.
  • Maintain and update service requests using our maintenance management system.
Requirements
  • Five or more years of related maintenance experience.
  • Intermediate level understanding and experience in basic trades, including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and appliance repair.
  • Certifications in HVAC and EPA preferred.
  • Some supervisory or lead experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel to other locations as needed.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
