We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work with our team to provide behavioral support to students with special needs.
Job Summary:The Registered Behavior Technician will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavioral interventions and support students with special needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:- Implement behavioral interventions and support students with special needs
- Work under the supervision of a BCBA to develop and implement behavioral plans
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to provide comprehensive support to students
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. psychology, education, special education)
- Experience working with students with special needs
- Ability to work under the supervision of a BCBA
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
