Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team at Northstrat. As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting Linux operating systems on our factory development/test network as well as edge and cloud production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Linux systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • Ensure system security and compliance with DoD regulations
  • Develop and implement system administration processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Linux
  • Active TS/SCI w/CI poly clearance
  • DoD 8570-compliant certification (e.g. A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Puppet, VMWare, and Ansible
  • Knowledge of cloud-based environments and DevOps tools
  • Experience with containerization and virtualization
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
