Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Commercial Service Technician to join our team at TDIndustries. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing inspections, testing, repairs, and planned maintenance of HVAC Commercial systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex Commercial HVAC systems.
  • Coordinate work processes on large projects, including disassembly and reassembly of large commercial equipment.
  • Complete service contracts, quoted projects, and demand service calls as directed.
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers and explain work performed to their satisfaction.
  • Provide customer solutions and communicate project status to all project stakeholders.
  • Participate in technician on-call-stand-by rotation as dictated by business unit policies and procedures.
  • Purchase materials and issue purchase order numbers to suppliers.
  • Safely operate motor vehicles and trailers.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Two-year technical degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Must possess required registrations, professional licenses, and/or certifications as required by the position.
  • 2+ years of experience in HVAC Unitary skills, including split system, mini-split system, roof top units, and water source heat pumps.
  • Knowledge of brand-specific controls and fundamentals of A/C electrical circuits and low voltage D/C electrical circuits and operation.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more controls platforms and ability to read basic schematics.
  • Ability to use app-based technology and demonstrate strong business ethics at all times.
