Job Summary:
Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our pediatric clinic team. As an LVN, you will work collaboratively with physicians and nurse practitioners to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ambulatory nursing care to pediatric patients, including assessment, intervention, and education.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform daily clinical duties, including vital signs, medication administration, and wound care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and clinic efficiency.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing.
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing experience in a clinic or office setting, or equivalent experience in a family practice with a heavy pediatric population.
- Current license to practice vocational nursing in the State of Texas.
- Current CPR certification.
