Build the Future of AI

Microsoft is seeking a talented Platform Engineer to join our team and help build the next wave of AI capabilities. As a key member of our Platform Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing secure and performant AI Platform services that power Copilot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable services on top of public cloud infrastructure like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and AI researchers, to build next-generation AI products and services.
  • Ship high-quality, well-tested, secure, and maintainable code.
  • Find innovative solutions to complex technical issues and ensure optimal performance, scalability, and user experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline.
  • 4+ years of technical engineering experience building web services with coding in languages including, but not limited to, Python, C#, C++, Rust, Java.
  • Experience building distributed systems at scale and extensive systems knowledge that spans bare-metal hosts to containers to networking.
  • Experience using container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with AI platforms, frameworks, and APIs.
  • Experience using Machine Learning frameworks, including experience using, deploying, and scaling language learning models.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range: $117,200 - $229,200 per year.
