Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transfer Shuttle Driver to join our team at Ryder System in Hartford, CT. As a Transfer Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for safely driving a commercial vehicle and ensuring compliance with safety & DOT Regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a commercial vehicle to transfer equipment between Ryder customer facilities
  • Ensure compliance with safety & DOT Regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records and logs
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide a valid CDL and endorsements
  • Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
