Procurement Specialist

At American Maplan Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our business by sourcing and procuring high-quality materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and manage purchase orders to meet business needs
• Evaluate supplier options to determine the best choices based on price, quality, and other factors
• Ensure uninterrupted business operation by following up on open product orders and identifying potential delivery risks
• Timely and accurate data management in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Associate degree preferred; Bachelor's degree highly advantageous
• Five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of MS Office applications
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP
