Job Opportunity

ESC, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to support a brand new contract located at a secure facility. This role will offer telecommuting for up to 50% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable multi-tier applications using Object Oriented/Service Oriented Architecture involving data structures, algorithms, and JEE Design Patterns.
  • Develop and deploy applications in IBM WebSphere Portal 6.1, WebSphere Application Servers 6.0 or higher, or JBoss Application Server 7 or higher, and/or Windows Server 2019 or higher.
  • Analyze system performance data to identify potential issues with the application or environment and participate in meetings with management or other team members to discuss test results or design changes to improve the application performance.
  • Create technical documentation that includes high & low-level application designs, performance test plans, architectural standards, guidelines, networks, and ER diagrams.
  • Design hybrid cloud applications (shared data/application/services hosted on both on-premises and AWS/Azure/Google cloud).

Requirements:

  • 84 months of experience with designing and implementing scalable multi-tier applications.
  • 84 months of experience with designing and developing quick Proof of Concept using the latest technology stack.
  • 60 months of experience with developing and deploying applications in IBM WebSphere Portal 6.1, WebSphere Application Servers 6.0 or higher, or JBoss Application Server 7 or higher, and/or Windows Server 2019 or higher.
  • 60 months of experience with analyzing system performance data and participating in meetings with management or other team members.
  • 60 months of experience with creating technical documentation.
  • 60 months experience in designing hybrid cloud applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1099's are preferred for this role.
