This position may assist with monthly financial reporting, and will have a primary focus on forecasting, data management, and spearheading new projects that will enhance corporate value and advance the reporting capabilities and data used in making strategic business decisions.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis or management accounting
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Excellent Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong systems background
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting, financial modeling, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement, primarily in Excel
  • Experience analyzing and reporting budget vs. actual results
  • Accounting and general ledger experience, monthly close process
  • Data management experience
  • Ability to communicate and work with all levels of management and outside vendors
  • Able to work independently
  • A self-starter, take initiative type of person, ability to meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented, good at preparing and reviewing financial reports

Beneficial skills include:

  • Access or other database experience
  • Cost analysis/Cost Accounting
  • System implementation
  • Sage
  • DataRails or similar Excel-centric database system
  • Mining, Construction, or other heavy equipment background
