Your primary responsibilities will include the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics systems, as well as the upkeep of testing equipment, tools, and documentation.
The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) division delivers cost-effective, comprehensive command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection, and security solutions globally.
The MST team has a rich history of supporting various governmental and commercial entities, with extensive experience in platform operations, engineering, and full lifecycle management across multiple domains – air, land, sea, space, and cyber.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent with typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
- A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Proficiency in interpreting moderately complex technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications; ability to route wires according to technical drawings
- Advanced skills in using moderately complex avionics installation tools, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering, and crimping techniques
- Must possess personal tools in good working condition
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with FCC regulations and FCC GROL
- Capability to mentor and guide junior staff
- Basic understanding of spectrometers, oscilloscopes, and/or Pitot static equipment
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military
