Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Load Driver to join our team at Waste Pro. As a Front Load Driver, you will be responsible for operating refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned and special routes to pick up garbage. This is a critical role that requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned and special routes to pick up garbage
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip truck checks and cleaning
  • Collect and transport waste to designated local landfills or disposal areas
  • Complete route/productivity sheets, records mileage, fuel consumption, and log book entries
  • Communicate professionally with customers and report any customer issues or complaints to internal contacts
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for customers
Requirements
  • Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a safe driving record
  • Must be able to speak and read English well enough to communicate with customers, co-workers, dispatch, and supervisors
  • Must be able to lift independently (unassisted) 50 pounds from the ground to waist height
  • Must be able to push or pull independently (unassisted) 50 pounds between a day
  • Must be able to work 8 to 12 hours in extreme weather conditions
Working Environment

As a Front Load Driver, you will work in a variety of environment conditions, including wide temperature and weather variations. You will be exposed to noise, vibrations, fumes, odors, and dust. You must be able to work safely and efficiently in these conditions.
