Cyber Security Risk Assessment SpecialistNaval Air Systems Command is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Risk Assessment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for performing cyber security risk assessments, physical security assessments, user awareness training, system auditing, and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cyber security risk assessments and physical security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.
- Develop and implement user awareness training programs to educate employees on cyber security best practices.
- Conduct system audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with users to clarify requirements, obtain missing data, explain processing delays, discuss priority adjustment options, and discuss alternative process methods.
Requirements:
- At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09/10 grade level or DS-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
- Expertise with IT systems, plans, functions, and security operations.
- Highly proficient in a variety of computer platforms, networks, and software applications.
- Extensive knowledge of Risk Management Framework and authorization of documentation.
Education:
- Applicants can also qualify for the position if they successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited or pre-accredited institution in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management.
- Graduate education that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems, or networks.
