We are seeking an experienced lawyer with a strong background in e-discovery and litigation to lead our e-discovery efforts and provide high-quality legal advice to our business stakeholders.

This role requires a deep understanding of advanced e-discovery tools and processes, as well as excellent negotiation and dispute resolution skills.

The successful candidate will be expected to independently lead e-discovery work on complex matters and supervise project execution to meet case deadlines, budgets, and standards.

We offer a competitive salary package of $155,000 per year, including a market-leading profit-sharing plan, employee stock ownership plan (ESOP), and comprehensive benefits.

Job Description

This role involves:

  • Leading all aspects of e-discovery projects and obligations across a diverse range of matters.
  • Efficiently managing portions of the company's complex pre-litigation and litigation matters.
  • Working closely with e-discovery vendors and outside counsel on ESI protocols, protective orders, privilege issues, and document review and production processes.
  • Developing and executing project plans for each stage of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
  • Licenses and standing to practice law in at least one U.S. state, with the ability to become licensed in Minnesota.
  • 6-10 years of significant e-discovery and litigation experience either in-house or at a law firm.
  • Deep subject matter knowledge of current case law related to the preservation, collection, culling, search, review, and production of ESI.
  • Confident team player with attorney and non-attorney legal professionals and business partners.
