Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement a comprehensive Group Fitness program that meets the needs of our diverse membership base.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of group fitness instructors, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional teaching and member experience.
  • Scheduling and Operations: Develop and manage group fitness schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing conflicts.
  • Staff Development: Identify and develop staff members' skills and capabilities, promoting career growth and advancement opportunities.
  • Member Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive group fitness culture, encouraging member participation and satisfaction.
  • Business Acumen: Analyze program metrics and make data-driven decisions to drive business growth and revenue.
Requirements
  • Nationally accredited group fitness certification (AFAA, ACE, or NASM preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching group fitness and small group training
  • 1 year of experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Experience and certification in personal training (preferred)
  • Proven ability to grow participation and satisfaction
  • Proactive in developing schedules with a deep roster for coverage
  • Ability to develop staff through expanding team members' capability and capacity
  • Drives employee engagement through developing a positive team culture
  • Assertive in managing the infrastructure to exceed clients' expectations
