Role Summary:
In the position of Project Accountant 2, you will be entrusted with:

  • Independently managing client invoicing, collections oversight, and project financial planning, while also providing support for accounts payable, time tracking, and expense reporting.
  • Ensuring accurate management of contract documentation, including the administration and maintenance of fees and budget entries.
  • Collaborating with project teams to deliver timely contract performance insights and address financial discrepancies.
  • Coordinating the project accounting framework within the department and liaising with technical personnel to guarantee adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Assisting multiple project managers and team members on a daily basis.
  • Providing mentorship to junior project accountants as required.
  • Performing additional responsibilities as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred, with priority given to local candidates.

Required Qualifications:
An Associate degree in a related field or a combination of education and relevant experience is essential.
A minimum of 5 years of experience is required; an advanced degree may compensate for lesser experience.
Familiarity with Earned Value Management is advantageous.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including grammar, punctuation, and proofreading abilities, are necessary.
Demonstrated flexibility and capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while collaborating with various managers in a dynamic environment.
Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individuals are encouraged to apply.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word and Outlook, is required.
