Job Summary:
Magnet Medical is seeking a highly skilled Intensive Care Specialist to join our team in Lewistown, Montana. This 13-week contract will provide the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, delivering exceptional care to patients in need.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent critical thinking skills, be able to work effectively in high-pressure situations, and maintain a calm and composed demeanor even in the most challenging circumstances. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role, as they will work closely with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and other healthcare team members to plan and implement individualized care for each patient.

About the Role:
This position requires the ability to assess and monitor the health of pregnant women at various stages of labor, including gathering health histories, vital signs, and physical assessments. The successful candidate will be skilled in managing both routine and high-risk pregnancies, monitoring fetal and maternal well-being, and assisting with deliveries. They will also be responsible for administering medications, including epidurals, Pitocin, and pain relief options, as prescribed, and monitoring their effects.

Responsibilities:
• Assess and monitor the health of pregnant women at various stages of labor
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor their effects
• Assist obstetricians or midwives during vaginal deliveries
• Participate in cesarean section procedures
• Monitor the health and recovery of both the mother and the newborn in the immediate postpartum period

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must have current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Montana and possess at least one year of experience working in Labor and Delivery. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as strong communication and teamwork abilities. BLS certification is required, and ACLS certification is preferred.

Benefits:
This contract offers a tax-free stipend amount of $$104,449 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours of work per week.
