Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team at Anderson County Hospital in Garnett, KS. As a RN on this team, you will have the opportunity to provide care to acute care and skilled rehab patients with various conditions and diagnoses. In this position, you will be trained and supported to float over to the Medical Surgical unit as needed. Training and certification assistance will be provided to support your success in this role.

PRN shifts available, 12 hour shifts, swing shifts.

• Utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care.
• Perform patient care tasks, delegate tasks to other patient care staff as needed.
• Supervise other patient care staff, coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients.
• Consult with other members of the healthcare team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.

Applicable experience: 1 year. Advanced Cardiac Life Support RQI - Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI), Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Pediatric Advanced Life Support RQI - Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI), Registered Nurse - Various, Trauma Nurse Core Course - Emergency Nurse Association. Associate Degree required.
