* Plan and implement school-meal menus that meet USDA nutritional requirements and Michigan Department of Education guidelines
* Develop programs, workshops, and activities designed to promote health and wellness awareness among the school community
* Plan alternative menus for students with special needs, collaborating with parents and medical care providers
* Provide guidance for planning, overseeing preparation, and cooking meals to meet USDA nutritional requirements and the Academy\u2019s wellness policy
* Implement and manage planned nutrition menu in compliance with applicable requirements and regulations
* Adhere to sanitation and safety procedures following the Michigan Food Health Code and HACCP guidelines

Requirements:

* Must possess a minimum of Bachelor\u2019s Degree in the study of Nutrition Science or related field
* Thorough knowledge of state food health codes
* Must be computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Software
* Must possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Experience working in culturally diverse setting
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment
* Flexible open-minded, self-driven team member
* Must be authorized to work in the US
