We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position for a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in American Sign Language (ASL) and experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs, particularly in students who use ASL.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate ASL.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing ASL as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' educational and communication goals.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development of goals and accommodations.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state licensure as an SLP in California.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required.
  • Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
