Job Overview

As a seasoned Healthcare Project Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for larger, more complex projects or multiple projects with supporting management staff. Your responsibilities will include project team performance, cost, quality, schedule, and safety. You will maintain relationships with Clients, Architects, Consultants, and Subcontractors, promoting the company's vision, mission, and core values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall leadership to the project team.
  • Manage all aspects of the project, including profitability, schedule adherence, conformance to specs and drawings, and customer expectations.
  • Work with the Superintendent and key stakeholders to develop the project plan, means and methods, recordkeeping, and monitor the project schedule.
  • Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance and career potential.
  • Manage in coordination with the team an estimate, buyout, budget, and schedule for clients.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships and rapport with architects, subcontractors, clients, consultants, public, vendors, and project team.
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism, embracing CPPI's mission, vision, and values.
  • Understand and administer contract and subcontract agreements.
  • Establish, communicate, and implement the Project Schedule.
  • Manage the budget and control project costs through a combination of industry methods to ensure financial performance on the project, as well as generate financial reporting.
  • Interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.
  • Manage the Quality Assurance / Quality Control program.
  • Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, as well as fee and pricing decisions.
  • Manage all facets of project close-out, including archiving of documents, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies, and warranty work.
  • Process all change orders, including negotiating and assessing cost and schedule impact.
  • Work effectively within a team environment and encourage participation from all tiers of staff.
  • Complete project estimates from start to finish, including but not limited to: review specs, send out requests for quotes, perform take-offs, compile subcontractor quotes, and write up estimates.
  • Develop recovery strategies when project schedule or budget are in jeopardy.
  • Manage all facets of project close-out, including archiving of documents, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies, and warranty work.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for value engineering, cost reductions, increased profitability, and continual process improvement.
  • Control project costs through a combination of industry methods to ensure financial performance on the project.
  • Maintain awareness of current marketplace and trends to gain and maintain our competitive advantage.
