Job Description

Ryder System is seeking a qualified Truck Driver Class A Part Time to join our team in Burnsville, MN.

Job Summary

This is a part-time position that requires a Class A CDL truck driver to operate a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle. The driver will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations in MN, WI, and IA.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle to transport goods
  • Deliver goods to various locations in MN, WI, and IA
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
  • Maintain accurate records and logs
  • Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
