Speech and Language Therapist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team at Caliber Public Schools. As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality services to our students with special needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized instruction to students with speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Assess and evaluate students' communication skills and develop strategies to improve their language and literacy abilities.
- Consult with parents and guardians to ensure that students receive consistent support and services.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in speech and language therapy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Valid California Clinical or Rehabilitative Services credential.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing circumstances. The Speech and Language Pathologist will be required to work with students of varying ages and abilities, and to communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other staff members.
