Job SummaryCowboy Jack's Saloon is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to our high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare ingredients, cook, and assemble dishes according to recipes.
- Perform portion control and maintain portioning standards.
- Ensure timely preparation of dishes by restocking ingredients and meeting prep times.
- Communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.
- Maintain a clean workstation area and handle, store, and rotate products to standards.
- Comply with sanitary, health, and personal hygiene standards.
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients and products.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line supervisor or manager.
- Ability to stand with well-placed mobility for up to 4 hours.
- Ability to carry 0-40 pounds on a regular basis.
- Understanding of cooking methods and procedures, and knife handling skills.
- Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and follow cooking directions.
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be organized and self-motivated.
- Requires grasping, standing, walking, repetitive motions, hearing ability, and visual acuity.
