Job Summary:

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide direct patient care to patients in various clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines. You will administer respiratory and cardiology modalities, maintain patient records, and ensure the proper functioning of equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Clean, disinfect, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment
  • Evaluate equipment for proper function and report malfunctions
  • Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines
  • Interact with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
  • Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support
Requirements:
  • 1 year of recent acute care experience
  • ARRT, BLS, ACLS, CCI certifications
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift 20 pounds, and perform other physical demands

Please note that additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
