Sleep Disorder Specialist

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is partnering with a respected healthcare system to fill a Full-Time Certified Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT) position.

This role is essential in diagnosing sleep disorders and ensuring patients receive top-quality care in a supportive and dynamic environment.

• Conduct overnight, daytime, and home sleep studies (polysomnography) in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Monitor and record brain activity, muscle movement, and vital signs to assess sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, insomnia, and narcolepsy.
• Calibrate and maintain sleep study equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accurate data collection.
• Score and analyze sleep data, creating comprehensive reports for review by a physician or sleep specialist.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Certification as a Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT) or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with sleep study equipment and software, as well as familiarity with sleep disorder treatments.
