About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team at Vanity Fur Mobile Pet Groomer. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to our clients' pets in a mobile setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional grooming services to dogs and cats, including bathing, trimming, and styling.
  • Work in a fast-paced mobile environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, understanding their pets' needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict sanitary and cleaning procedures.
  • Drive to clients' houses, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
Requirements
  • At least one year of previous experience as a dog grooming technician or in a similar role.
  • Comfort working with all breeds and sizes of dogs.
  • Willingness to learn new techniques and engage in continuing education.
  • Effective communication skills with coworkers and pet owners.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure top-notch grooming results.
  • A genuine passion for working with pets.
  • Safe and proper scissoring skills.
  • Experience in a high-volume salon or mobile grooming and knowledge of pet behaviors acquired from such environment.
  • Familiarity with breed-specific clips is a plus.
  • Additional experience in cat grooming is highly valued but not required.
