POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for mastering and executing all facets of grain elevator operations.

SUPERVISION AND REPORTING
Reports directly to the Operations Manager while receiving guidance from company leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Collaborates effectively with fellow team members to meet collective objectives.
2. Demonstrates respect and professionalism in all customer interactions, particularly during harvest seasons and community engagements.
3. Executes all operational tasks with a strong emphasis on safety and adherence to company protocols.
4. Maintains and services company equipment, including but not limited to grain legs, conveyors, and machinery.
5. Handles all responsibilities related to the receiving, shipping, and management of grain, including the operation of grain drying equipment.
6. Conducts regular inspections of grain storage facilities and outbound grain to ensure quality, promptly reporting any issues to the appropriate supervisor.
7. Ensures the upkeep of company property and grounds with the highest standards.
8. Communicates essential operational information to the Operations Manager, Assistant General Manager, and/or General Manager as necessary.
9. Adheres to housekeeping standards and completes necessary documentation, including safety records such as bin entry, hot work, and confined space permits.
10. Ensures compliance with regulations set forth by relevant agencies.
11. Performs additional duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
Adheres to FS System's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, as well as Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. A background in grain handling and mechanical operations is typically required.
2. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record or be actively working towards this.
3. Willingness to work extended hours beyond standard expectations.
4. Capable of lifting heavy loads as needed.
5. Able to work in various weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.).
6. Working conditions may involve exposure to dust and electrical hazards, with appropriate safety measures in place.
7. Must be willing to participate in required training, including education on FS System's policies and procedures and additional training related to the position's requirements.
