Occupational Therapist Job Description

ALOIS Healthcare is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team for a travel position in Dayton, Ohio.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. As an Occupational Therapist, you will help clients develop, recover, improve, and maintain skills needed for daily living and working.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' physical and mental abilities to determine their needs and goals
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals
  • Conduct therapy sessions to help patients develop skills and abilities
  • Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective care
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience working with patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
