Key Responsibilities:

  • ABAP Programming: Create, develop, and execute ABAP applications and RICEFW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) within the S/4 HANA framework, focusing on FICO modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Foreign Exchange Accounting, and Banking.
  • S/4 HANA Proficiency: Spearhead and engage in S/4 HANA upgrade initiatives, ensuring familiarity with version transitions, and guarantee that all developments comply with S/4 HANA best practices.
  • SAP BTP Integration: Utilize SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to augment the functionalities of SAP solutions. Participate in integration and extension projects leveraging BTP services.
  • ODATA Development: Create and manage ODATA services for SAP applications, ensuring effective integration and data interchange between SAP and external systems.
  • Technical Assistance: Offer continuous support for ABAP developments, resolve issues, and enhance performance to maintain system reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including FICO, Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and other SAP module teams to comprehend business needs and convert them into technical solutions.
  • Documentation & Standards: Keep thorough documentation for all developments and ensure compliance with coding standards and SAP protocols.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 10 to 12 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • At least 5 years of experience in S/4 HANA developments, particularly with RICEFW components.
  • Technical Skills:
  • In-depth experience in ABAP programming within the FICO area, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Foreign Exchange Accounting, and Banking modules.
  • Expertise in SAP BTP and ODATA services.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA upgrades, especially from earlier versions to the latest.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Local Candidates: Preference for candidates who are based in South San Francisco, CA, and are willing to work on-site consistently.
