Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Job Specialty: Critical Care Specialist

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)

Guaranteed Hours: Not Specified

Experience: Minimum of 2 years required

License: Valid State License required at the time of submission

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS; all certifications must be from AHA and in hand at the time of submission

Must-Have:

  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Ability to go for lab work within 35 days of signing
  • Must adhere to the 50 miles travel requirement
  • Background check details must be noted (e.g., BG hits or DUIs)

Job Description:

  • Provide critical care to patients in the Respiratory Therapy department.
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments and ensure proper ventilation for patients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess patient needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document all therapy sessions.
  • Ensure all respiratory equipment is functioning correctly and safely.
  • Provide education to patients and families on respiratory care and treatments.
  • Follow hospital policies and procedures regarding COVID19 and Flu vaccinations.
  • Participate in a 16hour orientation session.


This role requires a dedicated professional committed to providing high-quality respiratory and neuro diagnostic care in a night shift hospital environment.
