Position Overview

Assist in the care of laboring, delivering, and postpartum women and newborns throughout the stages of vaginal and cesarean deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare delivery rooms for anticipated patients, including setting up epidural equipment and supplies for vaginal deliveries.
  • Assist with vaginal deliveries and provide support to the RN and newborn after delivery.
  • Prepare and assist in cesarean sections and other procedures, ensuring the accuracy of supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of instruments and delivery rooms, including post-delivery clean-up.
  • Provide general patient care, including vital signs, perineal care, and ambulation support.
  • Support nursing staff with various tasks, including answering phones and assisting with patient transport.
Required Qualifications

Embrace the principles of family-centered and baby-friendly care while developing a 'Surgical Conscience'.

LPN certification is mandatory.

NRP certification must be obtained by the end of the orientation period.

A minimum of two (2) years of LPN experience is required.

Credentials

* LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

Starting salaries at
