Job Description:

At Global Partners, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operation, from food preparation to inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including workstations, ovens, walk-in/freezers, and dry storage.
  • Oversee the shipping and receiving of all products, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Take inventory and maintain accurate records, placing product orders as needed.
  • Enforce strict sanitation standards, adhering to city and state regulations, and maintain ServSafe certification.
  • Develop and implement sanitation and allergen protocols, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests.
  • Hire, train, and coach a team of culinary professionals, providing ongoing support and development opportunities.
  • Cook and bake a variety of menu items, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Manage accounting, billing, and invoicing processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
  • Create and implement menu development and special selection strategies, driving sales and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional kitchen management experience.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with a passion for developing others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent bending, reaching, and standing.
