Job Description:At Global Partners, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operation, from food preparation to inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including workstations, ovens, walk-in/freezers, and dry storage.
- Oversee the shipping and receiving of all products, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Take inventory and maintain accurate records, placing product orders as needed.
- Enforce strict sanitation standards, adhering to city and state regulations, and maintain ServSafe certification.
- Develop and implement sanitation and allergen protocols, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests.
- Hire, train, and coach a team of culinary professionals, providing ongoing support and development opportunities.
- Cook and bake a variety of menu items, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery.
- Manage accounting, billing, and invoicing processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
- Create and implement menu development and special selection strategies, driving sales and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional kitchen management experience.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with a passion for developing others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent bending, reaching, and standing.
