Job Title: Toyota Auto Service Technician

Hoselton Auto Mall is seeking a skilled Toyota Auto Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing vehicle repairs and maintenance work in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
  • Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
  • Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer
  • Complete an MPI on every vehicle worked on
  • Advises service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
  • Documents all work performed and recommended electronically on the repair order
  • Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician
  • Interacts with customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Supervises work of any apprentice technicians as assigned
  • Attends factory-sponsored training classes
  • Keeps current on factory technician bulletins
  • Ensures that customer's cars are kept clean
  • Keeps shop area neat and clean and is always able to account for all dealership-owned tools
Requirements:
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of how automobiles work
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize workload
  • High motivation, work ethic, enthusiasm and positive attitude
  • Some computer knowledge and/or experience
  • Valid driver's license required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
