We are seeking a skilled Coatings Specialist to join our team at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions. As a Coatings Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for paint application, applying protective coatings to metal and composite products using spray gun techniques, and removing protective coatings using chemical and mechanical methods.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in an automotive or industrial finishing environment, with a strong understanding of industry specifications and the ability to interpret and work from them. You will also be required to demonstrate accurate basic math skills, use a tape measure accurately, and perform dimensional inspection using calipers, dial indicator, and thickness gauge.

In addition to your technical skills, you will be expected to communicate effectively and professionally, and to work well under close supervision. You will also be required to maintain a clean work area and adhere to strict safety protocols.

We offer a competitive salary range of $29.00 - $38.00 hourly, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) savings plan, and education reimbursement.
