Position Overview:
As a Travel Nurse RN, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across various healthcare settings. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Contributing to the development of comprehensive patient care plans.
2. Participating in weekly clinical staffing meetings to review and assess patient treatment strategies.
3. Providing medication education to patients and their families, ensuring understanding and compliance.
4.

Monitoring and documenting patients' emotional and mental health observations accurately in their medical records.

5. Conducting educational sessions and teaching groups as per the APU schedule.
6. Mentoring LPNs and MHTs in essential skills such as charting, vital signs monitoring, and de-escalation techniques.
7. Engaging actively in performance improvement teams or other unit task forces.
8. Accepting educational or marketing assignments as directed by management.
9. Keeping Therapeutic Options certification current.
10. Serving as a positive role model for both patients and colleagues through professional conduct, attire, and hygiene.

Submission Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience - Required
- De-Escalation training - Highly Preferred
- Recent travel nursing experience - Highly Preferred
- Flexible scheduling availability - Preferred, block scheduling may not be guaranteed
- Profile History and Skills Checklist, current within the last year, relevant to the specialty
- Two Supervisory Reference Forms, completed within the last two years
- Valid Licensure Certifications (OK State License or compact BLS - AHA, NIH)
