Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Hospice Spiritual Care Counselor to join our team. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with our field staff and leaders to provide spiritual support to our patients and their families.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting spiritual assessments of patients and families/caregivers in our hospice program, developing individualized plans of care, and providing direct spiritual care. You will also serve as a liaison and support to community chaplains and spiritual care counselors, and participate in quality assessment performance improvement teams and activities.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a graduate degree from an accredited seminary or school of theology (BD, MDiv or equivalent theological degree) preferred. Experience working with death and dying, individuals/family/caregiver is essential, and hospice experience is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
