About the Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Miami Children's. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care to pediatric patients. You will work closely with supervising anesthesiologists to determine the best course of treatment for each patient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert anesthesia care to pediatric patients in a variety of settings.
- Collaborate with supervising anesthesiologists to develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans.
- Perform thorough pre-anesthesia assessments, including medical history and physical exam.
- Administer anesthesia medications and monitor patient response.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care, including anesthesia administration and vital signs.
Requirements:
- Masters or Doctoral degree from a Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Council on Accreditation.
- Current APRN licensure and National Board Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- CPR BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications.
