About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Technician to join our team at Valle Vista Health System. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct care and supervision to residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and supervision to residents, including assistance with daily living activities and hygiene.
  • Assure residents are kept safe and aware of rules and expectations.
  • Act as a role model for residents, demonstrating effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Assist in providing recreational and therapeutic activities for residents.
  • Transport residents to and from medical appointments and ensure scheduled programming is carried out.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field preferred.
  • Six months to one year of experience working with a behavioral health in-patient population preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
