We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Technician to join our team at Valle Vista Health System. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct care and supervision to residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care and supervision to residents, including assistance with daily living activities and hygiene.
- Assure residents are kept safe and aware of rules and expectations.
- Act as a role model for residents, demonstrating effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Assist in providing recreational and therapeutic activities for residents.
- Transport residents to and from medical appointments and ensure scheduled programming is carried out.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or related field preferred.
- Six months to one year of experience working with a behavioral health in-patient population preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
