Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant - Hospice Care

At NHC, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our hospice care team. As a CNA, you will provide essential care and support to patients with life-limiting illnesses, ensuring their comfort and dignity throughout their journey.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care, exercise, and ambulation to patients, adhering to state and federal regulations.
  • Utilize safety techniques and proper body mechanics when administering care, transferring patients, and performing other work responsibilities.
  • Take and record vital signs or other metrics as instructed, and report changes in the patient's mental and physical status to the RN.
  • Participate in weekend rotation for scheduled visits and prepare light meals, launder, and perform other household services essential to the patient's healthcare.
  • Maintain twelve (12) hour educational requirements and adhere to good standing with state regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of a Certified Nurse Aide program with current certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with a team and independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • Proficient computer and technology skills.
