About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist Level II to join our team. This is a full-time position that requires rotating holidays and weekends, as well as an on-call obligation.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgical team in implementing skilled nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Perform assigned procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, employees, and physicians.
  • Maintain required credentials, including BCLS certification and mandatory inservice training.
  • Demonstrate skills and knowledge necessary to provide care appropriate to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduation from an accredited, approved surgical technologist program with clinical hours completed (for employees hired after 2009).
  • BLS Certification.
  • Certification by an approved certification body, such as the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) and/or the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
    CST certification and one year of experience.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $62,000 - $82,000 per year, based on experience and location.
