We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a local contract position with a duration of 13 weeks, requiring a commitment of 36 hours per week.
Job OverviewAs a Radiology Technician at Equiliem, you will be responsible for performing routine radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable examinations in various departments. Your versatility and adaptability will be essential in this role, ensuring seamless operations within the diagnostic department.
Key Responsibilities- Taking radiographs as ordered by physicians;
- Maintaining a high level of proficiency within the diagnostic department;
- Protecting patients and employees from unnecessary radiation exposure;
- Managing front desk operations and computer systems;
- Scheduling exams and alerting supervisors when necessary;
- Utilizing central transport programs for patient transportation;
- Accessing patient records for normal operations;
- Performing equipment quality assurance and regulatory compliance tasks;
- Knowledge of medical terminology, isolation techniques, and sterile procedures;
- Patient positioning and equipment operation skills;
- Experience working with x-ray machines and printers.
