Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Land Surveyor to join our team at TAIT & Associates, Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing expert surveying services to support our civil engineering, architectural design, and real estate development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct construction staking, boundary surveys, and topographic surveys using advanced surveying equipment and software.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to ensure accurate and efficient surveying services.
  • Develop and implement surveying plans and procedures to meet project requirements.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on surveying-related matters to project stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in surveying.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction staking, boundary surveys, and topographic surveys.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and other surveying software.
  • Experience with Carlson Software, Leica Systems, and Trimble surveying equipment.
  • California field experience required.
  • PLS license in CA required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three years of journey level experience with responsible charge on a survey project.
  • Proficient in a wide range of computer programs, including MS Office Suite and CADD.
  • Experience with Digital Terrain Model (DTM), GPS, collection and processing, least square adjustment, Topographic surveys, and boundary surveys.
