Job Description

Job Title: Licensed Security Officer

Total Security Resources Group Inc is seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment for our employees, customers, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible security presence
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
  • Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
  • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
  • Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary
  • Escort or drive motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations and to provide personal protection
  • Monitor and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering
  • Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
  • Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
  • Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
