Corrections Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Corrections Supervisor to join our team at the Virginia Correctional Center for Women. As a key member of our institution, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment.

The salary for this position ranges from $51,185 to $91,264 per year, offering a competitive compensation package along with excellent benefits.

• Supervise and monitor corrections officers and trainees on assigned shifts to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Communicate effectively with management, staff, visitors, inmates, and the public.
• Lead and counsel staff, completing required training and maintaining a productive workforce.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver's license and current Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) certification are also necessary.
• You should possess working knowledge and understanding of correctional policies, procedures, and practices.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, schedule, and supervise the work of others is essential.

• Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
