Job Description
">Overview
Spartanburg Regional Medical Center seeks a highly skilled Credentialing Supervisor to oversee the centralized credentialing process of medical staff services. This individual will be responsible for managing day-to-day functions, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures, and coordinating with internal and external agencies.

Responsibilities
- Manage the daily work assignments for the credentialing and provider data entry team
- Validate and ensure all aspects of initial credentialing, re-credentialing, ongoing monitoring, and privileging
- Conduct productivity metrics and regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of provider information in credentialing databases and systems
- Mentor and train credentialing staff and other department staff that interact with the credentialing function

Requirements
- Associate Degree
- At least 5 years' experience as a medical staff professional or other appropriate professional training
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification or Certified Professional Medical Service Management (CPMSM) certification required

Salary Information
The estimated salary for this position is around $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
