Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide exceptional anesthesia care. This role involves working collaboratively with a skilled team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-operative Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients assigned for anesthesia, reviewing medical histories and pre-operative tests to ensure optimal care.
  • Monitoring: Initiate and maintain vital sign monitoring, including EKG, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry prior to anesthesia induction.
  • Patient Positioning: Safely position patients on the operating table, ensuring their protection throughout the procedure.
  • Anesthesia Administration: Administer anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist, ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
  • Emergency Response: Provide immediate care for any adverse reactions to anesthesia, including resuscitative measures when necessary.
  • Documentation: Accurately record all relevant data in the anesthesia record and communicate effectively with the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) staff.
  • Equipment Management: Assemble and test anesthesia equipment prior to use, ensuring all tools are functioning correctly.
Qualifications

Education: A Master’s degree or higher with advanced certifications in anesthesia.

Experience: Preference for candidates with a minimum of one year of anesthesia experience; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements

This role requires:

  • Constant communication and interaction with patients and staff.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and lifting of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Occasional lifting of heavier objects and patients.
