We are seeking a dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide exceptional anesthesia care. This role involves working collaboratively with a skilled team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-operative Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients assigned for anesthesia, reviewing medical histories and pre-operative tests to ensure optimal care.
- Monitoring: Initiate and maintain vital sign monitoring, including EKG, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry prior to anesthesia induction.
- Patient Positioning: Safely position patients on the operating table, ensuring their protection throughout the procedure.
- Anesthesia Administration: Administer anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist, ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
- Emergency Response: Provide immediate care for any adverse reactions to anesthesia, including resuscitative measures when necessary.
- Documentation: Accurately record all relevant data in the anesthesia record and communicate effectively with the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) staff.
- Equipment Management: Assemble and test anesthesia equipment prior to use, ensuring all tools are functioning correctly.
Education: A Master’s degree or higher with advanced certifications in anesthesia.
Experience: Preference for candidates with a minimum of one year of anesthesia experience; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Physical RequirementsThis role requires:
- Constant communication and interaction with patients and staff.
- Frequent standing, walking, and lifting of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Occasional lifting of heavier objects and patients.
