  • Work with health insurance providers to determine coverage and benefit limits.
  • Calculate payment requirements and inform patients of acceptable payment arrangements on balance, both current and previous.

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two years experience in hospital business office setting; or at least one year of experience in medical billing/collection field.
  • Strong knowledge of payer guidelines and reimbursement policies.
  • Must be highly proficient with Excel.
