We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Flexjet. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for the oversight of aircraft maintenance recruitment, selection functions, and job placement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Global Maintenance leaders to develop and execute talent acquisition plans based on staffing levels, aircraft delivery schedules, and other factors.
- Execute recruitment and sourcing activities, including direct sourcing, job fairs, schools, trade and industry networking, advertisements, internet posting, social media, active resume database searches, employment agencies, employee referrals, and outreach to relevant organizations.
- Responsible for talent acquisition efforts from initial sourcing, screening, and testing to offer acceptance for all maintenance technician positions.
- Coordinate, plan, and attend recruitment events, socials, expos, and career fairs as needed.
- Prescreen all potential candidates and present successful candidates to Maintenance leaders for review.
- Schedule panel interviews with Maintenance leaders and/or General Managers, coordinate travel arrangements, conduct interviews, and evaluate applicants.
- Coordinate technical interview aspects with General Managers and/or Chief Inspectors.
- Enter, track, and update all candidate correspondence in our applicant tracking system to ensure accurate reporting and policy compliance.
- Establish and maintain recruitment metrics, including time to fill, offers accepted, resumes screened, phone screens completed, and interviews completed.
- Assist with recruitment across several company functions as directed by the Director, Talent Acquisition.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience recruiting Aircraft Maintenance Technicians in the aviation industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business, or a similar discipline; 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, preferably with an aviation background; or a combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience with executing on recruitment strategies.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and industry-specific aircraft, including aircraft recognition, performance, and specifications.
- Proven track record of sourcing and placing candidates in a technical field.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to work and build rapport with all levels.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably ClearCompany, is a plus.
- Working knowledge of social media platforms as it relates to recruitment and job promotion.
- Strongest candidates will possess aviation-specific knowledge related to hiring standards and the ability to communicate with industry-specific jargon.
- Able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment, with the ability to self-motivate, handle multiple tasks, meet established targets, and work within critical milestones.
- Strong personal and work ethics and integrity; proven track record of flexibility and professionalism.
- Position requires up to 20% travel.
- Must possess a passionate attention to detail.
